OK OK, I have been dying to do this video for a very long time: exposing healthy food brands by reading and explaining what the food ingredient labels mean….It really astounds me how many times I was fooled into thinking what I was eating was healthy because the package had the words “vegan” or “whole grain” in it. It was only when I learned to read ingredients on food labels that I really began to understand how many “hidden” added sugar, soy, and questionable grain is actually stashed inside of packaged foods! It’s all in the ingredient labels!
What I will say is this….if you want healthy, the best way to do it is by eating whole foods – like go to the produce aisle in your local grocery store. Those don’t necessarily have food labels – because they are at face value – actual real food!
But if you really like the packaged stuff (I mean, I love it too!), be sure to read the food ingredient labels very carefully and be more AWARE of what you are eating and putting into your body. Knowledge is most certainly power here! The more you know, the better choices you can make for yourself!
